Residential Services Overview
The Villa operates a 58 bed residential facility for children and adolescents who have been court ordered placement outside their natural home. The program provides inclusive services on-campus to address all of the needs of the youth, including medical services, psychiatric services, educational and vocational programming, as well as a therapeutic milieu known as the Family Learning Environment.
The Family Learning Environment model incorporates the Sanctuary model and the Mission of The Villa as the philosophical frameworks for interactions with the youth, as well as each other. The goal of the model is for all the youth receiving treatment at The Villa progress through the program using positive relationships and teaching so that they can return home with stronger skills to successfully navigate their home and community.
